Acrylic & Sharpie

This one I was trying to use the haphazard application of the background to capture the VIOLENCE of the darkness. Whether it be darkness from one's own thoughts, or the circumstances one finds themselves in, or even lying in a bed feeling stranded without hope. The subject, thin and naked, vulnerable to darkness. Helpless and alone. Clutching at their mind, though it may not be the source of the darkness, but may be the source of that violence that lay within it.
